William Schutte

Townsend – William Gill Schutte, 69, went home to be with his Lord, on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at his home under the care of his family.  Born in Waco, TX, he lived in Long and McIntosh counties for the past 60 years and was a retired mechanic from Homeland Security in Brunswick.  He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, and fishing, and spending time at his Townsend home, “Crooked Pine”.

Survivors are his wife, Terri Ann Schutte of Townsend; daughter, Kerri Lynn Marlow (John) of Johnson City, TN; son, Warren Schutte of Townsend; sister, Diane Brazell of Darien; best friend, Ronald McGowan of Ludowici; 3 grandchildren.

He will be laid to rest on his property in a private service.
