Wendy Fuller

Ludowici – Wendy Ann Fuller, 47, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at her home under the care of her family and Hospice of South Georgia.  She was born in North Carolina to military parents and had lived in Long County most of her life.  She was a graduate of Northside High School in Warner Robbins and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Armstrong Atlantic in Savannah.  She worked for many years as an Administrative Clerk for the Long County Sheriff’s Dept. until her health declined.  She was one of the first women certified as a firefighter and EMT in Long County.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Bain and sister, Carole Fuller.

Survivors are her sons, Adam Curtiss and Garrett Fuller of Ludowici; father, Johney Bain, Sr. of Austin, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Johney Lee Bain, Jr and Amy of Ludowici; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 31 at 6:30 PM at the Howard Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Stan Todd officiating.  Visitation is one hour prior to services in the chapel.

Honorary pallbearers will be her Long County Sheriff’s Dept. family and all public safety personnel in attendance.
