Ludowici – Thomas William “Tom” Lowman, 83, died Thursday, February 18, 2021 in Texas. The native of Lost Creek, WV was retired from the US Air Force with twenty years of service and had lived in Long County since 2004. He worked as a security guard in South Carolina with Southern Security, Sizemore Security, and CPP and with Groover Security in Wisconsin. He was a member of the American Legion and was a former president of Retired Enlisted Association. He was a member of First Baptist Ludowici and was preceded in death by his wives, Dorothy Smith Lowman and Vickie Lowman, son, Thomas William Lowman, Jr., two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors are his son, Michael W. Lowman of Richmond Hill, TX; step-daughters, Jacqueline Ward of Scofield, WI, Lorie Ann Smith of Seffner, FL, Patricia Waldo of Ludowici, Linda Sheets, Laura Briggs, and Ina Jackson, all of Jacksonville, FL; step-son, John Kirby of Jacksonville, FL; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and burial will take place in Texas.
