Timothy McSwain

Harris Neck – Timothy Samuel McSwain, 64, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, May 23, 2024, under the care of his family and Hospice of the Golden Isles.  Born in Fernandina Beach, FL, he lived in McIntosh County most of his life.  He was retired from Altama Delta Manufacturing and was an avid outdoorsman.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting, even bagging a 15-point buck for his trophy wall.  He also enjoyed working in his yard and gardening and was a Townsend Church of God member.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Theresa Clark.

Survivors are his wife of 39 years, Annette McSwain of Harris Neck; sister, Peggy Drury of Charlotte, NC; brother, Joseph McSwain (Melissa) of Nahunta; mother-in-law, Velma Mosley of Harris Neck; brother-in-law, Rusty Clark of Townsend; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 25 at 11 AM at Townsend Church of God with Pastor Bruce Miller officiating.  Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery in McIntosh County.

Visitation will be from 10 – 11 AM prior to the service.

Active pallbearers will be Miller Andrews, Gary Andrews, Jr., Joey Andrews, Doyle Ryals, Dewane Ryals, Nathan Ryals, and Doyle Ryals, Jr.
