Theodore John Krush, Jr.

80, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. Born in Bridgeport, CT, he lived in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Maine before settling in Ludowici, GA. He served in the US Army for over 7 years. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and restoring cars and tractors. Once a vehicle was finished, he would sell it and move on to the next. He loved building remote-control airplanes and model trains, even creating a large train display in his home. He retired as a truck driver, known for hauling all sorts of “tall, wide, and heavy” loads. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore J. Krush, Sr., and Christine Zolovchik Krush.

Survivors are his wife of 57 years, Phyllis Krush of Ludowici; sons, Theodore J. Krush, III (Frances) of Portland ME, Peter J. Krush, George Rogers (Debra) both of Townsend, GA, Keith Myers (Elizabeth) of Ludowici, Nakia Seals (Michelle) of Brunswick, GA, and Dean Santomango (Stacey) of Greene, ME; sisters, Diane Chagnon (Charles) of Woodmont, CT, Linda Comwich (William) of Orange, CT, and Veronica Sikora (Scott) of Trumbull, CT; grandchildren, Anna, Kale, and Julia; several nieces, and nephews.

Memorial services will be private.
