Hinesville – Terrence Davon “Teddy” Frazier, 35, died Monday, May 24, 2021 at Landmark Hospital in Savannah. Born in Ft. Bragg, NC, he lived in Long County most of his life, recently moving to Hinesville. He received his education in the Long County school system before attending culinary arts school. He was best known as pit master of his own business, Big Freight BBQ. He enjoyed music and sports, was a “mean” drummer and youth sports coach, but more importantly, a die-hard Clemson Tiger fan! He enjoyed fishing, was a “people person”, and a dedicated husband, father, son, and brother. He was a member of A Voice Crying for Souls Outreach Ministries in Ludowici.
Survivors are his wife, Tawaynna Frazier of Hinesville; daughter and sons, E’Moni McLeod, Kelvin McLeod, Kevon McLeod, and Elias McLeod, all of Hinesville; parents, Elijah and Bernice Frazier of Ludowici; sisters, Amaris Polite of Hinesville and Xenia (Willie) Knight of Ludowici; brother, Elisha (Tangela) Frazier of Gulf Breeze, FL; maternal grandmother, Evelina Harley of Early Branch, SC; godchildren, Xyon Knight, Zacari Wilkins, Ava Stewart, and Aiden Stewart. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Memorial services will be held Friday, May 28 at 1 PM at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Hinesville with Ambassador Elijah Frazier officiating.
Family will receive visitors at the church.
