T. C. Wells

Screven – Troy “TC” Clinton Wells, 49, died Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup.  Born in Statesboro, he lived in Wayne County his whole life.  He was known to be a great heavy equipment operator.  He also enjoyed playing guitar and pretending to be a mechanic or carpenter.  He was preceded in death by his father, Troy Harrison Wells, maternal grandparents, JW and Aurelia Griffin Morris, and paternal grandparents, Oscar and Jessie Sikes Wells.

Survivors are his sons and daughters-in-law, Josh Wells (Katie) of Middleburg, FL, Devin Wells (Brianna), and Dalton Wells both of Screven; mother and step-father, Donna Aspinwall (Johnny) of Screven; grandchildren, Paisley Wells and Wesson Wells; step-sisters and brothers-in-law, Diane Dennison (Nicky), Lynn Brown (Greg), and Gwen Drury (Ricky) all of Screven; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 8 at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel. 

Burial will be in Baggs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Moody, Tad McGowan, Art Todd, David Morris, II, Bubba Stephens, and Shawn Morris.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Morris, Darrell Morris, and Jimmy Horne.

Remembrances are suggested to American Heart Association.
