Susan N. (Pate) Bean

Hinesville – Susan N. Bean, 59, died Friday, May 7, 2021 at her home under the care of her family and GHC Hospice.  She grew up in Long County and lived in Hinesville over twenty-eight years.   She was a graduate of Long County High School, class of 1980.  Susan worked as a secretary for area businesses and was a homemaker.  She enjoyed golfing, bowling, and trips to the beach, but cherished time spent with family, especially her grandchildren who called her Nana.  She was preceded in death by her sisters, Diane Barnard and Patsy Holland.

Survivors are her husband, David Bean of Hinesville; daughters, Jennifer Campbell and Lindsey Martinez of Hinesville and Kristina Lovitt of Tulsa, OK; mother, Naomi Parker of Hinesville; brother, Gary Pate of Hinesville; grandchildren, Naomi Martinez, Cheyenne Campbell, and Charlotte Martinez; special cousin, Gale Hembree of LaGrange.  Numerous other relatives also survive.

Memorial services will be Monday, May 10 at 6 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Tony Caldwell officiating.
