Shree Owens Obituary
Jesup – DeHannah Shree Owens, 51, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Born in Athens, AL, she lived in Jesup all her life. She was known for her giving and caring heart, always taking care of others, even during her own troubled times. Shree had a profound impact on many lives during her struggles. She was of the Church of God faith and was preceded in death by her parents, David Robert, Sr., and Jacquelyn Owens.
Survivors are her sisters, Debbie (Jack) Walker of Odum and Dana McCaffrey of Jesup; brother, David (Melissa) Owens, Jr. of Jesup; nieces and nephews, Rayna Owens, Jada (Lee) Bishop, Hunter Wombolt, Wesley Owens, Heather Wombolt, Katelyn Kent, Holly Wombolt, Madisyn Kent, and Alexander McCaffrey; great-nieces and a great-nephew, Ashton Tyre, Scarlet Wombolt, Hallie Johnson, and Knox Trantham, along with numerous cousins. She is also survived by a large family in recovery, among others.
Memorial services will be Sunday, November 20, at 2 PM at Unity Church of God with Rev. Calvin Anderson officiating.
