Sheryl (McKenzie) Goode

Ludowici –Sheryl Ann Goode, 55, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023, in Ludowici.  Born in Savannah, she lived in Florida for several years and in Long County for the past 21 years.  She was a former corrections officer in FL but worked mostly as a retail sales clerk, and at O’Reilly Auto Parts in Glennville for the past year.  Her hobbies included reading, camping, fishing, and raising puppies.  She attended Calvary Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her son, Scotty Guastella, and her parents, Wildon McKenzie and Martha Barker.

She is survived by Ronnie Goode of Ludowici; Lindsey Guastella of Crystal River, FL; and grandson, Michael Link of Crystal River, FL.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, September 24, at 3 PM at the Howard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brian Smith officiating.  The visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Middleton Memorial Cemetery.
