Sarah Jane (Rowe) Fields

Eastman – Sarah Rowe Fields, 58, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at her home.  She was born in Townsend and lived there most of her life, moving to Eastman twenty-eight years ago. She had worked on the family farm and was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed working with her flowers, yard sales and Dr. Pepper.  She attended the Church of God and Church of God of Prophecy.

Survivors are her husband, Derrell Yawn of Eastman, daughters and son-in-law, Bonnie and Jerome Ryals of Odum and Sherrie Hutto of Eastman; son, Lee Fields of Eastman; parents, Lloyd and Earlene Rowe of Townsend; brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred Thomas Rowe and Rhonda and Paul Rowe and Tracy of Townsend; seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter (due in July), and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 3 at 11 AM in the Howard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev, Jody Griffin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Rowe Family Cemetery in Townsend.

Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be Jessie Rowe, Cole Rowe, Jack Rowe, Billy Rowe, Tom Poppell, and Nick Poppell.
