Sandra (Rowe) Scherrer

Townsend – Sandra Rowe Scherrer, 60, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023, under the care of her family and Hospice of the Golden Isles.  A native and lifelong resident of Townsend, she was the manager of Homestyle Laundry in Brunswick and was a homemaker.  She enjoyed cooking, fishing, riding motorcycles, and time spent with family.  Sandy was a member of Townsend Church of God and attended Eulonia Church of God of Prophecy.  Her parents, Earl Rowe and Lorise Rowe Davis, and brothers, Clint and Greg Rowe, preceded her in death.

Survivors are her husband, Carl Scherrer of Townsend; daughters, Tonya Scherrer of Cary, NC, Kimberly Scherrer and Victoria Scherrer of Brunswick, and Katelyn Scherrer of Townsend; sons, Coy Scherrer (Leonna) of Rock Spring, and Marvin Scherrer of Brunswick; sisters, Wilma Monroe (Audley) of Darien, and Loretta Owens (Ronald) of Crescent; brothers, Clay Rowe (Rhonda) of Gum Branch, Sunny Rowe, Shane Davis, Hayden Davis, Jr., and Frankie Davis, all of Darien; five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Saturday, November 25, from 10-11 AM at the Howard Funeral Home.

Graveside service will follow at 1 PM at Ebenezer Cemetery with Brother Danny Stilwell officiating.
