Ruby "Doll" (Rozier) Lee

Townsend – Ruby Jewell “Doll” Lee, 78, died Friday, April 16, 2021 at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick.  Born in NC, she lived in McIntosh County most of her life.  She previously worked at Altama Delta Corporation and was a homemaker.  She was an amazing cook who also enjoyed gardening and feeding and looking after wild birds in her yard.  She was a member of Darien Church of God and preceded in death by her husband, Red Lee, son, Gary Lee, and siblings, Dan, James, Gerald, Gladys, Ann, Margie, Sarah, and Betty Jean.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Tammy Lee of Darien; grandsons, Chad Lee (Taylor), Christopher Anderson (Emily), and Casey Lee; great-grandchildren, Brodie, Sailor, Rhett, and Blakely; close friend, Ruby Rozier Thornton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, April 20, at 6 PM at Howard Funeral Home chapel with Ruby Thornton, Rev. Tommy Whaley, and Rev. Danny Stilwell officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the chapel.
