Ludowici – Royce Andrew “Humpy” Maulden, 72, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, in Tennessee. He lived most of his life in Long County, was a retired electrician from Local 508 in Savannah, and worked for the Long County Road Department after retirement. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandbabies. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Long County and was preceded in death by his parents, Frazier Maulden and Shirley Gasper, and a brother, Cliff Maulden.
Survivors are his sons, Wes Maulden (Katy) of Etowah, TN, and Steven Maulden of Savannah; sister, Theresa Tyson of Sardis; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, March 21, at 1 PM at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Long officiating.
