Hinesville – Roy M. Mueller, Jr., 86, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024, in Hinesville.  He was born in Oregon and made Hinesville his home for the past 49 years.  After 20 years, he retired from the U.S. Army and worked in the IT Department for H&R Block for many years.  He loved playing World of Warcraft, bowling, RC cars, and working on his sprinklers.  Everyone knew not to park anywhere near the sprinklers in his yard.  He also loved working with computers, and if you asked what he was doing he would say, “Not much of nothing”.  Most of all he loved his family.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, LaJune Mueller, a son, Brad Mueller, Sr., and parents, Roy, Sr. and June Mueller.

Survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Sheryl Mueller, of Palm Harbor, FL; grandchildren, Taylor and Caleb Wells, and Brad Mueller, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Remington and Ryan Wells, all of Hinesville; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Harriett Mueller; and niece, Christy Smith, all of Pinehurst, NC.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 15 at 12 pm at the Howard Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tommy Hamilton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
