Robert Robertson

Ludowici – Robert Robertson, 97, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Coastal Manor in Ludowici and under the care of Your Family Hospice.  Born in Liberty County, he lived in Long County most of his life.  He retired from the pulpwood and timber industry after a long life of hard work and enjoyed being outdoors.  Yard work and gardening were his favorite pastimes, and he was a member of St. Phillips Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors are many nieces and nephews including his dedicated nieces, Mary Hamilton of Ludowici and Regina Williams of Brooklyn, NY; close friends, Joyce Thomas of Jesup and the Maebelle Harris Family of Ludowici, along with numerous cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 27, at 2 PM at St. Phillips Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Bobby J. Hall officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.
