Darien – Robert Glen Eastwood, Sr., 59, tragically passed away Sunday, October 27, 2024, in McIntosh County. Robert was born in Germany and grew up in many places because his father was in the military. He finally made Darien his home for most of his adulthood. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He liked hunting, fishing, and watching The Ultimate Fighter on TV. Robert also enjoyed attending all high school sporting events. He will be remembered as a jack of all trades and always willing to help anyone. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Marianne Eastwood; sister, Barbara Knox; and brothers, Harald W. Eastwood, Thomas R. Eastwood, and Richard A. Eastwood.
Survivors are his wife, Kim Rozier Eastwood; daughters and sons-in-law, Stormi Eastwood of Darien, Alisha Durant (Trip) of Valona, GA, and Amy Davis (Jonathan) of New Bern, NC; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Eastwood, Jr. (Tiphney), Michael Eastwood (Erin) both of New Bern, NC, and Craig Eastwood (Ashley) of Grantsboro, NC; grandchildren, Jennings Durant, Andi Durant, Kamryn Eastwood, Cooper Eastwood, Cade Eastwood, Talon Morris, Baylie Morris, Easton Davis, Connor Eastwood, Hayden Eastwood, Mason Eastwood, Alex Eastwood, and Bryce Eastwood; sisters and brothers-in-law, Karin Day of Georgia, Kathleen Gardepe (Norbert) of Virginia, and Linda Farrell (Mike) of Maryland; brother, Dennis Eastwood of North Carolina; and number nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 1 at 11:00 AM at Darien Church of God with Brother Tommy Whaley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church.
Active pallbearers will be Matt Linton, Will Woodcock, Jake Poppell, Pat Brannen, Dennis Eastwood, and Robert Turtt.
