Robert M. Brown

Ludowici – Robert M. Brown, Jr., 71, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the SGHS - Brunswick Campus.  The native of Wayne County had lived in Long County since 1991.  He was retired from Georgia Pacific in Brunswick as a millwright mechanic and enjoyed tinkering on anything mechanical along with spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert, Sr. and Minnie Brown and a brother, Homer Brown.

Survivors are his wife, Dean Brown of Ludowici; children, Dixie and Chris Dozier and Bubba and Sharmon Howard of Ludowici; brother and sister-in-law, James and Carol Brown of Jesup; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 31 at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Byron Powers officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the chapel.

Burial will follow in the Baggs Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Noah Howard, Grayson Howard, Chandler Howard, Rhett Dozier, Chazz Todd, Dustin Orvin, Ridge Orvin, and Brian Lester.
