Richard V. White

Ludowici – Richard V. White, Sr., 61, passed away Friday, July 10, 2020 at his home under the care of his family and GHC Hospice.  Born in Savannah he had lived in Long County most of his life.  He retired as a welder having worked with Local Boilermakers Union 26 in Savannah more than thirty years.  He was a loving father, grandfather and son.  An outdoorsman, he enjoyed a good day fishing.

Survivors are his daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Justin Morris and December and Jason Bell of Ludowici, Wendy White of Glennville and Crystal Tilley of Hinesville; son, Richard White, Jr. of Ludowici; father, Ralph White of Rincon; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Richard Crocket and Brenda and Scotty Morris of Rincon; twenty-one grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, July 18 from 12 noon until 6 PM at Club Pavilion of Gordonia Alatamha State Park in Reidsville.
