Reggie Mason

Ludowici – Reginald E. “Reggie” Mason, 85, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024, in Savannah.  Born in Vidalia, he lived most of his life in Long County.  He had been self-employed in construction and owned and operated Mason’s Chevron for many years.  He was a US Navy veteran and served aboard the USS Saratoga.

Survivors are his sons, Charles Mason of Savannah, Ronald Mason of Ludowici, and Michael Mason (Carolyn) of Hinesville; sisters, Lotrell Laird of Port Richey, FL, and Billie Bizzell of Rutherfordton, NC; brothers, George Mack Mason (Betty) of Yukon, OK, and Joe Frank Mason of Conyers; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Reggie’s home on Saturday, June 8 at 1 PM.  A meal will be provided.
