Raymond Warren Thomas, 69, departed this life Monday, October 17, 2022, at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick. Raymond was born in Crescent GA on June 21, 1953, to Leonard Hayden and Bessie Mae Hope Thomas. He was owner and Captain of many fishing vessels, the Sea Shelley, Johnny Walker, Miss Bessie Mae, and Sea to Sea. He was an auctioneer and an avid outdoorsman. He owned and operated Julington Creek Seafood, Fine Line Painting and Remodeling, Thomas Auction Group, and U-Neeks by the Sea.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Charles Thomas, Marion Thomas, Harry Thomas, Alma Ruth Jackson, George Thomas, and Margie Thomas.
Survivors are his children, Cynthia Michelle Thomas of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Alacia Seawell (Chris) of Brunswick, GA, and Raycine Oaties (Derrick) of Orange Park, FL; siblings, Virginia McNair of Dublin, MaryAnne Varnadoe of Waynesville, Robert Thomas of Crescent, GA, and Louise Scheer (Richard) of Keystone Heights, FL; grandchildren, Alexandria, Nevaeh, and Heaven
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 22 at 6 pm at Belleville Boat Ramp. Family and friends may sign the online register at www.howardfuneralga.com
