Randell Purvis

Ludowici – Randell Joe Purvis, 41, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023, under the care of his family and GHC Hospice.  Born in Savannah, he lived in Long County most of his life.  Randell worked odd jobs while in high school until becoming disabled from an accident, after which he became proficient installing car stereos.  An outdoorsman, he hunted and never missed a chance to go to the shooting range.  Time spent with his family was the best, often playing card games together, and he loved video games.  He was preceded in death by his fur baby companion and buddy, Gus.

Survivors are his parents, Patricia Osterhous and Jerry of Ludowici, and Joe Purvis and fiance Donna Denman of Hinesville; sister, Tiffany Osterhous and Candice of Baxley; brothers, Brian Purvis and Stephanie of Bluffton, SC, and Stephen Purvis of Claxton; nieces and nephews, Ashley Reyna, Riley Mazey, Alyssa McGuire, Jackson Mazey, Jaden Roberson, Avery Purvis, Brayden Roberson, and Zoe Purvis.

Celebration of Life Services will be Saturday, May 6 at 3 PM at A New Beginning Church Youth Building with Pastor Libby Gardner officiating.

Remembrances are suggested to the family for medical and funeral expenses.
