Ralph Howard

Jesup – Ralph Dorsey Howard, 70, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023, in Savannah.  Born in St. Marys, he lived in Wayne County most of his life.  He retired after working for Jim Walter Homes and was a painter.  Ralph was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising hogs, and gardening.   He was a member of Aiken Memorial United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Dorsey and Estelle Howard, brother, Russell Howard, and step-sons, Robert Landis and Bob Landis.

Survivors are his wife, Sharon Fore Howard of Jesup; daughter and son-in-law, Cherie Lyons and Kevin of Ludowici; sons and daughter-in-law, Daniel Howard of Chattanooga, TN, Simon Howard of Las Vegas, NV, and Phillip Talarino and Jodi of Jesup; sisters and brother-in-law, Brenda Bonine of Harrison, TN and Margorie Smallwood and Rodney of Marietta; brother, Randall Howard of Mt. Pleasant; nineteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life services will be Saturday, March 4, at 11 AM in the Howard Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will assemble at the home of Cherie Lyons, 60 N. McDonald St., Ludowici, GA 31316.
