Obituary

Ludowici – Preston Arthur Perkins, 71, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2022, at his home under the care of GHC Hospice.  Born in Savannah, he lived most of his life in FL, and in Long County for the last several years.  He retired as a private security guard and was an avid gun enthusiast. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church Church and was preceded in death by his son, Paul Perkins, and brother, Jack Perkins.

Survivors are his daughter, Tammy Perkins of Bloomingdale; son, Jeremiah Perkins; sister, Betha Pingel (Mac) of Richmond Hill; brothers, Earl Perkins (Donna) of Athens, Ted Perkins (Gail) of Rincon, and David Perkins (Kelly), of Jacksonville, FL; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial services will be Sunday, August 14 at 2 PM at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev, Matt Massey officiating.  The family will receive visitors at the church.
