Patricia (Young) Long

Ludowici – Patricia Long, 61, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, under the care of her family and Regency Hospice.  Born in Jacksonville, FL, to Vernie and Leta Anderson Young, she lived many years in Wayne County and in Long County most of her life.  She worked in area restaurants as a server and as a Nursing Home CNA, and was a member of Rye Patch Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elliout Long, step-son, Jeff Long, sister, Doris Manuel, and brothers, Vernon Young, Sr., Franklin Young, and Vernie Young, Jr.

Survivors are her daughter, Belinda Silva and fiance’ Jesse Garcia of Corpus Christi, TX; son, Marvin Manuel, Jr. of Jesup; step-daughter, Missy Brant and husband, David of Brunswick; sisters, Linda Faye Young of Chatsworth, and Barbara Bell of St. George; brother, Edward Young, Sr. and wife, Shirley of Jacksonville, FL; ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, December 26 at 2 PM at Rye Patch Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Sikes and Brother Kenny Long officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

Active pallbearers will be Shane Lucas, Michael Lucas, Drayton Bergmann, Joe Manuel, Jr., Edward Young, Jr., Tony Young, and Vernon Young, Jr.
