Pamela C. Rogers

Shellman Bluff – Pamela C. Rogers, 70, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at her home under the care of her family and GHC Hospice.  Born in Tampa, FL, she lived most of her life in Claxton before moving to Liberty County.  While there she owned and operated Discount Dollar for many years, retiring to Shellman Bluff six years ago.  She enjoyed traveling and time spent with family.  Upon arriving at Shellman Bluff she quickly made friends and spent many happy days on the water.  She was an avid gardener who took pride in her home and yards and was a member of First Baptist Church in Claxton.

Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, William and Lorie Kicklighter of Hammond, LA, Tim and Dena Kicklighter of Lake Villa, IL, Anthony Kicklighter and fiancé Catherine of St. Marys, Michael Rogers and Laura of Hinesville, and Candler Rogers of Claxton; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Ronnie Nessmith of Brooklet; brothers and sister-in-law, Al and Ruth Jenkins of Hopeulikit and Curtis Barrow of Pooler; sister-in-law, Lin Rogers of Shellman Bluff; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with social distancing will be held Saturday, May 16 from 4-6 PM at Howard Funeral Home.
