Ora Clutter

Allenhurst – Ora Hope Clutter, 92, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 at her home under the care of her family and Georgia Hospice Care.  Born in Chester, WV, she lived there most of her life, moving to Long County over 25 years ago.  She was a homemaker and loving wife, mother and grandmother spanning five generations.  She enjoyed playing the organ, board games (especially chess), but mostly time spent with and for her family.  She was a member of Walthourville Baptist Church and preceded in death by her husband, Ed Clutter.

Survivors are her daughters and son-in-law, Charlotte Reed of Nowell, WV, Charlene Wright of KY, and Babs and Ric Strosnider of Allenhurst; son and daughter-in-law, John and Vicki Clutter of Allenhurst; eight grandchildren, including Tabitha and April, fourteen great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
