Darien – Nora Ann Andrews, 70, died Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at her home under the care of her family and Hospice of the Golden Isles. She was born in Redbank, NJ, lived in St. Augustine, FL for several years, and in McIntosh County the past thirty-seven years. She retired from St. Luke’s in Hospital as a registered nurse after graduating from FJC of Jacksonville. Nora had an outgoing personality and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt and enjoyed the outdoors. She attended Darien Church of God.
Survivors are her husband, Miller Andrews of Darien; sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Toby Welborn and Chris Welborn and Gloria Woody-Thompson of Macclenny, FL; sister, Margaret Kicklighter of Crescent; brothers and sister-in-law, Pat and Patty Bailey of Crescent and Rufus Bailey of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Brittaney Ann, Amber, and Dalton; great-grandchildren, Clayton and Rhett; nieces, Teresa, Jada, Amber, and Chasity; nephews, Zachary, Mitchell, Taylor, Gary, and Joey.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 22 at 11 AM at Darien Church of God with Rev. Tommy Whaley and Rev. David O’Brighton officiating. Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery in McIntosh County.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
Active pallbearers will be Mitchell Meeks, Taylor Meeks, Joey Andrews, Gary Andrews, Dalton Welborn, and Zack Tyson.
