Nancy Newman

Ludowici – Nancy C. Newman, 77, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025, in Savannah.  Born in Atlanta, she lived in Long County since 1992 and was a retired administrative assistant from civil service at Ft. Stewart.  Although she was quite opinionated, Nancy had a tremendous heart for people, especially her family.  She also enjoyed a competitive game of cards.  She was a member of Gum Branch Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Poole, and brother, Alan Cason.

She is survived by her daughters, Dawn Sizemore (Shawn) of Ludowici and Christy Dion (Thomas) of Dallas; sisters, Mary Felgenhauer of Winder and Lynn Cason of Ludowici; 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be conducted by her family.
