Meleony Walling

Ludowici – Meleony Beth Walling, 58, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at her residence.  Born in Ft. Sill, OK, she lived several years in MO and in Long County for the past 15 years.  She worked as a retail sales clerk, was a homemaker, and was a second “bonus” mom to her nieces, nephews, and others.  Meleony was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben, Sr. and Sallie Maulden Walling, nephew, John Walling, and great-nephew, Austin Moody.

Survivors are her sons, H. Sheldon McMillan (Chelsea) and Dean McMillan (Trish) of Warrensburg, MO; sisters, Julie Johnson (Brian) of Panama City, FL, and Valerie Brisbin (David) of Pt. Wentworth; brothers, R. Richard Walling, Jr. of Long County, and Michael Walling (Tracey) of Winder; sometimes sister, Sandra Mansfield of Ludowici; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Celebration of Life services are currently pending.
