Ludowici – Maurice Adam Bowman, Jr., 85, died Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at his residence after a sudden illness.  Born in Maryland, he lived in Long County since 2009, moving from Boyts, MD.  He was a US Army veteran and retired from civil service having worked security for National Geographic in MD.

Survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie and Ashlon Bowman of Ludowici; granddaughters, Heather Bowman of Martinsburg, WV, and Sadie Bowman of Ludowici; grandson, Cody Bowman of Millen.

Graveside services will be Saturday, October 23, at 11 AM at Glennville Memorial Gardens with Rev. Byron Powers officiating.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery.
