Ludowici – Maryann Estill Fensler, 64, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, in Savannah. Born in Savannah, she lived in Long County for over 30 years and was a local business owner. She was dedicated to her family and enjoyed arts and crafts, often sharing them with nursing home residents and shut-ins, and had a contagious smile. Maryann was a genuine servant through not only her deeds, but in sharing the gospel, and was a positive, inspirational person, known for her daily Facebook posts of encouragement. An active member of A New Beginning Church, Maryann’s presence was felt in her volunteer work with the church’s ministries. She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Mary Estill, sisters, Susan Hargrove and Marcia Wells, and grandson, Gabriel Fensler.
Survivors are her husband of 44 years, Mike Fensler of Ludowici; daughters, Amanda Batt (Todd) and April Fensler Ray (Justin) of Ludowici; son, Shane Fensler (Kiyana) of Hinesville; sister, Helene Estill of Savannah; brothers, Sandy Estill of Savannah and Jay Estill (Theresa) of Ludowici; 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, October 27, at 6 PM at A New Beginning Church, with Pastor Tom Gardner officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior.
