Mary Owens Obituary
Townsend – Mary Leah Owens, 59, died Monday, May 16, 2022, at Memorial Health in Savannah and under the care of Compassus Hospice. Born in Norfolk, VA, she lived in McIntosh County all her life. She worked at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Brunswick, previously working at Walmart and as a home health care nurse. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, and time spent with her grandchildren. She attended Northside Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Mary Wilber.
Survivors are her husband, Randy Owens of Townsend; sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Rachel Owens of Brunswick, and Daniel and Amanda Owens of Townsend; brother and sister-in-law, Francis and Mary Wilber of Darien; grandchildren, Avery, Tanner, Elly, Raygan, Sarah, and Kinsley.
Services will be private.
