Ludowici – Mary Kay Farmer, 74, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Coastal Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Richmond, MN, and lived in Long County for over 40 years. She worked in Hotel Hospitality, was a homemaker, and enjoyed being outdoors, especially gardening and feeding the wild birds. She was a practicing Catholic and was preceded in death by her brother, Charlie Spohn.
Survivors are her husband, Ken Farmer of Ludowici; sons, Adrian Ramler of St. Josephs, MN, and Ben Ramler of Ludowici; sister, Shirley Scott of Colorado Springs, CO; brothers, Ken Spohn and Pete Spohn (Barbara), of Richmond, MN, and Mark Spohn (Linda) of Fairbanks, AK; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 31 at 2 PM at the Howard Funeral Home with Father Paul O’Connell officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery in Long County.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM prior to the service.
