Brunswick – Martin Calvin “Marty” Lynn, Sr., 50, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020. Born in Jesup, he had lived in Long County for many years, moving to Brunswick nine years ago. He had worked fifteen years for the Long County Road Department and the past three years for McIntosh County Road Department. Marty had an enormous heart and was a devoted family man who enjoyed time spent with them. He enjoyed meeting and talking with people, especially at his yard sales. He was a faithful Christian and preceded in death by his father, Davis Lynn and sister, Delfeney Hand.
Survivors are his wife, Lisa M. Lynn of Brunswick; daughters, Ariel O’Steen of Shellman Bluff, Cheyenne Watson of Brooklet and Hannah Blair of Blitchton; son, Martin Lynn, Jr. of Brunswick; mother and step-father, Brenda and Homer O’Steen of Shellman Bluff; sister, Vivian Mitchell of Hinesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Connie Lynn of Brantley County and Rodney and Nikki Lynn of Townsend; granddaughters, Isabelle and Eve, and Gabrielle, due in April; several nieces and nephews.
Services at this time will be private.
Public Memorial Service will be at a later date.
