Marianne Woods Obituary

Ludowici – Marianne Woods, 69, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2023, under the care of her family and Hospice of South Georgia. Born in Germany, she lived in Hinesville for many years, settling in Long County 3 years ago. She worked most of her life as a seamstress and was a homemaker. Marianne treasured time spent with her family, drinking her coffee, and watching her soap operas. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Woods.

Survivors are her daughter, Latanja Woods of Jesup; sons, Otis Woods of Ludowici and Tyrone Woods of Jesup; several siblings all of Germany; 4 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held by the family.
