Obituary
Ludowici – Marjory M. Branch, 78, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023, in Ludowici. Born in Miami, FL, she grew up in Long County, living there most of her life. She held different positions during her working years, including dental assistant, retail clothing sales, and childcare. She was a member of Jones Creek Baptist Church for many years where she worked in the nursery, taught Sunday School, and worked as a youth leader, mentoring and touching the lives of many. Her husband, Edward Branch, and daughter, Tonya Branch Hodges, preceded her in death.
Survivors are her daughter, Suzanne Swindell of Ludowici; son and daughter-in-law, Dwight Branch and Joy of Statesboro; sister, Evelyn Patrick of Richmond Hill; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; grandchildren, Alyssa, Sydney (Brian), and Ross; step-grandchildren, Jonathan (Crystal) and Austin (Dallas); great-grandchildren, Blakely, Joslyn, and Houston; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, April 5 at 3 PM at the Howard Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home.
