Jesup – William L. “Les” Robinson, 74, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Hospice of South Georgia Inpatient Unit in Jesup. He was born on October 31, 1951, to William "Red" and Sara Robinson of Iron City, GA. Les was welcomed home by his two older sisters, Sara Jane and Betty Lou. In 1970, Les met the love of his life, Cindy Bush Robinson, and together they had Chad and Lance Robinson. After traveling with his construction jobs, they returned to Lake Seminole. Les served several years on the Seminole County Board of Education. Most days you could find Les fishing and spending time with his four grandchildren that he truly loved and enjoyed. Les was a deacon for many years at Spring Creek Baptist Church and Salem Seminole Baptist. After Lance, Chad, and Cindy's loss, his strong faith in the Lord got him through it, leaning on Jesus.
Les leaves his four beloved grandchildren, Austin, Allison, Brittney, and Mollie Robinson all of Seminole County; two daughter-in-law Clara and Rebecca, as well as two sisters, Sara Jane Hardy and Betty Teston and husband, Billy; one nephew, Scott (Mesa) Teston; one niece, Shanna (Martin) Shingler, along with several great nephews and nieces who loved him dearly.
