Ludowici – Lenore Parker Sharp, 75, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 at her home under the care of her family and Affinis Hospice. She was a native and lifelong resident of Long County and retired from civil service where she was secretary for the Ft. Stewart Fire Department. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed time spent with family and spoiling grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for her family and caring for her pets. She was especially proud of her home and keeping up the immaculate yard and grounds. She was a member of Ludowici First Baptist Church and the Mary Gordon Sunday school class. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Willie Parker, sisters, Pet Howard and Lilly Parker, and brothers, Tommy Parker and Gay Smith.
Survivors are her husband, Ron Sharp of Ludowici; daughter, Jodi Combs of Glennville; grandsons, Trey Combs and Aaron Combs (Amber Flowers) of Ludowici; great-grandchildren, Zoey Combs, Jocelyn Combs, and Layne Combs; sister, Mary Lou Hodges of Atlanta; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Cynthia Parker of Screven; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, October 13 at 11 AM at Jones Creek Memorial Gardens with Rev. Brad Boynton officiating.
Family will receive friends at the cemetery.
