Ludowici – Larry G. Lagasse, 76, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022, in the Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Larry was born in Caribou, Maine to the late Gerald and Alice Lagasse. Larry was in the military for four years and served in the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of the University of Maine and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He was a flight instructor and flew in the Gulf of Mexico. He later developed an interest in becoming a Site Acquisitionist for several telephone companies. After retiring his interest shifted and he began a small business where he etched and carved glass.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Lagasse of Ludowici, Georgia; brother, Lloyd Lagasse of Caribou, Maine; nephew Jason Lagasse of Alaska; special aunt, Leona Petroski of Enfield, Connecticut; uncle, Arthur Michaud of Caribou, Maine; very special niece, Brittney Baxter of Atlanta, Georgia, and special nephew, Clint Baxter (Hailey) and great-nephew, Will Baxter of Riceboro, Georgia; brothers-in-law, Revis Baxter (Betty) of Ludowici, Georgia, and Geral Baxter (Reba) of Glennville, Georgia.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 26 at 11 AM at Howard Funeral Home in Ludowici, Georgia.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
