Larry LaRoche

Townsend – Lawrence Edison “Larry” LaRoche, III, 62, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at his residence.  Born in Brunswick, he lived in McIntosh County all his life.  He was a US Navy veteran, previously working with the Corps of Engineers, a shrimper, a boat captain, and a chauffeur.  Larry was a people person who never met a stranger and could spin a yarn like no other.  He was preceded in death by his son, Lawrence “Chance” LaRoche, IV, and his parents, Lawrence, Jr. and Mitzi LaRoche.

Survivors are his sisters and brothers-in-law, Terri Rozier and Ivy, Tracie Dewitt and Robert of Townsend; brother and sister-in-law, Clark LaRoche and Judy of Townsend; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
