Larry Gunter

Conyers - James Larry Gunter, 68, died Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Rockdale Piedmont Hospital in Conyers. Larry was the pastor at the Victorious Life Church of God for 24 wonderful years. His passion and mission in life was to spread the word of God all over the world, including Africa, Jamaica and Russia. Larry loved his Lord and his family.  He will be missed, but never forgotten.  He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Gunter.

Survivors are his mother, Hazel Gunter; wife, Kathleen Gunter; son and daughter-in-law, Larry Gunter, Jr. (Teresa); daughter and son-in-law, Bridgett Taylor (Greg); grandchildren, Kander Gunter, Farrah Gunter, Jasper Gunter, EmmaKay Taylor; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings and spouses, Randy and Teresa Gunter, Dana and Larry Patterson, Keith and Lisa Gunter. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 3:30 PM at Victorious Life Church of God with Bishop Tom Madden officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the church.

Private Graveside services will be held at Rye Patch Cemetery on Sunday, January 10.  Arrangements are under the direction of Scot Ward Funeral Services of Conyers and Howard Funeral Home of Ludowici.
