Larry G. Doyle

Ludowici – Larry G. “Gus” Doyle, 66, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Liberty Regional Medical center in Hinesville.  He was born in Hephzibah, raised in Savannah, lived in Long County most of his life and was retired from the logging and timber industry.   An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time in the woods, and raising and caring for his dogs.  Most of all he was a family man who enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren.  He was Church of God by faith and preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Pentecost.

Survivors are his wife, Angie Doyle of Ludowici; daughters, Lori Harrison and Kasi Smiley of Ludowici, and Kraig Kerby of Ludowici; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marywhite Oliver of Frederick, MD, Ruth and James Moore of Thunderbolt, Cindy and Chris Albright of Savannah, and Beth and Billy Griffin of Mt. Vernon; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Lynn Doyle of Townsend and Timothy and Rosemary Doyle of Guyton; grandchildren, Randi, Taylor, C. J., Tanner, Ridge, Brooklyn, Ashlyn and Chandler, ; great-grandchildren, Kylea, Jaylee, Madison, Makenna and Eli; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 13 at 6 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Danny Stilwell officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the chapel.
