Walthourville – Kim Lynn Collett, 71, died Thursday, June 17, 2021, in Odum under the care of her family and Hospice of South Georgia. Born in Vietnam, she lived in Liberty County most of her life. She was retired from billeting with the National Guard Training Center on Ft. Stewart and was a Christian. Her husband, Eric Collett, preceded her in death.
Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Ernest Cantrell of Odum; son and daughter-in-law, Billy, Jr. and April Griffith of Long County; three sisters, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren (with another due in July), and several nieces and nephews.
Committal services will be Tuesday, June 22 at 10 AM at the Georgia Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Glennville with Rev. Gabe Gill officiating.
