Kenneth James Morgan

Ludowici – Kenneth James Morgan, 30, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at his home under the care of his family and Georgia Hospice Care.  He was born in Jesup and lived in Long County most of his life.  He had worked for R. B. Baker and Express before his health failed.  An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding dirt roads, and time spent with his family.  He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Loyette Strong, grandfather, Billy Morgan, and Uncle Michael Morgan.

Survivors are his wife, Michele Morgan; daughter, Kenslee Renee Morgan; parents, John Wilton and Susan King Morgan; brothers and sister-in-law, Jonathan Morgan, Bradley and Jessica Morgan, and Travis Morgan; maternal grandmother, Doris Morgan, all of Ludowici; paternal grandfather, Harold King of Glennville; nephew, Parker Lozon of Ludowici; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 13 at 2 PM at Compass Worship Center.  Burial will follow in Elim Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday evening, March 12 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be Jonathan Morgan, Bradley Morgan, Travis Morgan, Marcus Rollins, Jr., Larry C. Bell, and Wesley Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be staff of Georgia Hospice Care.

Remembrances are suggested to Glennville Bank to help defray medical costs.
