Glennville – Kathryn Clair “Kay” Myers, 75, died Monday, January 17, 2022, at Glenvue Health & Rehab. Born in Fitzgerald, she lived in Long County for several years and in Glennville for the past seven years. She had worked in production in the textile industry for several years before working at Victory Trophies in Hinesville and was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and a member of Gum Branch Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, David Myers of Glennville; daughters, Crystal Evans of Lyons, and Kelly Ann Clary of Ludowici; sons and daughter-in-law, James Evans of Lyons, Darren and Guila Evans of Huntsville, AL, and Tracey Evans of Inman, SC; brother, Larry Smith of Landrum, SC; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 20 at 2 PM from Gum Branch Baptist Church with Rev. John Barbee, and Minister Rodney Myers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
