Justin Smith

Brunswick - Justin Jerry Smith, 38, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.  Born in Brunswick, he lived most of his life in McIntosh County and worked for Cottage Caretakers of St. Simons Island.  Justin was at home when near the water, whether fishing, kayaking, or doing anything.  He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Smith.

Survivors are his companion, Marlo Strother and her beautiful daughter, Avery, of Augusta; son, Brayden Smith of St. Simons Island;  parents, Angela Hoyt and Dink of Kingsland; brothers, David Smith of Darien, Chandler Smith (Bailey) of Jesup, and Ryan Sawyer of Kingsland; maternal grandmother, Wanda Pinkard of Brunswick; paternal grandfather, Jack Hoyt of Townsend; several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life services will be announced upon completion.
