Juno Owens

Darien – Miles C. “Juno” Owens, Jr., 77, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022, in Baxley.  Born in Brunswick, he lived most of his life in McIntosh County.  He had worked in construction and as a commercial shrimper.  He enjoyed deer hunting until discovering fox hunting and was always ready for “running the hounds”.  He was of the Church of God faith and was preceded in death by his son, Tony Owens, and brother, Edward “Hinky” Owens.

He is survived by the love of his life, Patsy Bochette of Darien; children, Jennifer Valentine and husband, Bill of Brunswick, and Chris Moss and wife, Alissa of Ludowici; aunt, Corabell Owens of Darien; sister-in-law, Norma Owens of Townsend; grandchildren, Karoline, Cole, Kassie, Addison, Markus, Matthew, Dylan, and Tristen as well as numerous cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, October 5 at Palmetto Cemetery in Brunswick.
