63, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Hospice of South GA in Jesup. She was born in Virginia and has called Georgia home for over twenty years. She worked at Lowe’s in all departments for almost twenty years. She liked to shop and help clean up the environment, especially coastlines. Julie loved animals with her whole heart. There was never a time when she didn’t have an animal. She attended Elim Baptist Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Eloise Mitchum Gamble, and her brother, Robert Gamble.
Survivors are her sister, Shauna Blevins (Mike); nephew, Landon Blevins; niece, Adalynn Blevins all of Kentucky; step-mother, Jan Gamble of Ohio; special cousin, Angela Windisch of Atlanta; best, best friend/sister, Kathy Walter (Doug) of Ludowici; cousins, Nicholas Windisch (Melissa) of McDonough, Jordan Windisch (Veronica) of Newnan, Abigail, Lydia, and Benjamin Windisch; special friends, Janet and Jimmy Barrett, Trey Barrett, Jason and Tiffinie DeLoach, and Lily DeLoach; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 22 at 3 PM at Elim Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior. Pastors Greg Bentley, Austin Burgess, and Nicholas Windisch will be officiating.
