Judy Zalumas

Townsend – Judy Zalumas, 77, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, in Brunswick.  Born in Thomasville, she had lived in McIntosh County for the past 30 years and was retired as a secretary from McIntosh County.  She retired from the US Army with 20+ years of service, beginning with a tour in Vietnam and ending with a tour in Desert Shield.  She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Darein.

Survivors are her partner, Margaret Young of Townsend, and a sister, Jacqueline Zalumas of Decatur.

Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date.
